Lori McLauchlin

Lori McLauchlin is a veteran child welfare leader with nearly 25 years of experience in child protective services, program administration, and social work leadership. Based in eastern North Carolina, she brings extensive expertise in child safety, family preservation, and systems-level program oversight developed through decades of frontline practice and county-level leadership within local departments of Social Services.

Throughout her career, Lori has served in multiple leadership and direct practice roles, including CPS Social Worker, CPS Supervisor, and Social Work Program Administrator overseeing county child protective services operations. Her experience spans investigations, assessments, in-home services, staff supervision, and multidisciplinary systems collaboration focused on improving service delivery and reducing barriers to family well-being supports.

Lori earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Social Work from Fayetteville State University. She is recognized for her analytical approach, sound judgment, and unwavering commitment to strengthening outcomes for children and families. Her ability to connect direct practice expertise with organizational leadership makes her a valued consultant and trusted partner in child welfare program development and policy implementation.
