Stephanie Grischow brings more than 35 years of experience in child welfare, serving in a variety of roles throughout her career, including direct practice and, for the past 22 years, as a Permanency Planning Supervisor. In that supervisory role, she has worked directly with clients to de-escalate difficult situations and ensure their concerns are heard. Her extensive experience has provided her with a deep understanding of child welfare policy, best practices, and the complexities of achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
Stephanie is passionate about supporting and developing social workers by applying child welfare policy and evidence-based practice to strengthen service delivery and enhance professional growth. A particular focus of hers is helping others build confidence and lead with their strengths. Her commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement has made her a trusted leader and resource within the child welfare field.
Throughout her leadership career, Stephanie has successfully overseen federal and state audits, including intensive case and record review processes, ensuring compliance while promoting quality service delivery. She has also testified in court extensively and trained workers on the steps and preparation needed to testify effectively. She is a Certified Social Worker and holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree.
