Stephanie is a transformational leader and seasoned human services professional with nearly two decades of experience advancing outcomes for children, families, and communities. Since beginning her career as a child welfare social worker in 2004, she has built deep expertise in leading teams, strengthening practice, and cultivating organizational cultures grounded in trust, accountability, and continuous learning.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has been recognized for her ability to build high-performing teams and develop professionals who are both compassionate and results-oriented. As a child welfare social worker and later as a supervisor, she supported families facing complex challenges such as homelessness, substance use, domestic violence, and mental health concerns, nsuring safety, permanency, and well-being remained at the center of decision-making. Her service on adoption committees and her work training social workers in family-centered practice reflect her enduring commitment to equitable, relationship-based approaches to human services.
Currently serving as a Public Health Supervisor, Stephanie leads an interdisciplinary team of social workers and nurses who provide intensive case management and health education to pregnant women and children from birth to age five. Under her leadership, the team has strengthened collaboration across community organizations, expanded outreach and engagement, and improved client outcomes through integrated, neuroscience-informed strategies.
Stephanie’s leadership philosophy centers on growth mindset, emotional regulation, and shared accountability – principles she uses to coach others in navigating change, aligning practice with policy, and building resilient, empowered teams. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, children, relatives, and friends – recharging in the same spirit of connection and balance she brings to her leadership practice.
