Eric’s public sector career sector spans nearly 30 years in the areas of administration, finance, operational performance, and budget. Having served as chief financial officer for 3 local governments, he brings a breadth of experience across all facets of financial management including fiscal operations and management, budgeting and forecasting, and general ledger accounting. During this chapter of his career, he is most interested in supporting Allies 4 Outcomes to thrive and achieve the mission of its leaders. This support is expressed through responsible fiscal management, internal process improvements, and clear communication with clients and consultants who deliver direct services to those needing assistance.
Eric’s educational background is in accounting and business administration, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill. He subsequently completed the UNC School of Government’s County/Municipal Administration coursework to broaden his understanding of local government legal framework and service areas. Eric is a graduate of Leadership Asheville and currently serves on the board of a regional nonprofit focused on the economic and environmental vitality of the French Broad River watershed.
Eric joined A4O in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer.
